- 1/4 pound lean ground turkey
- 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/2 cup green beans
- 1/2 cup corn
- 1/2 cup green peas
- Dash seasoning salt , ketchup or salsa
In a medium-sized pan, lightly season and cook ground turkey until it becomes slightly brown. Drain excess oil. In a separate pot, steam or boil green beans, corn and green peas. Don't overcook vegetables—they should still be bright in color. In a small bowl, mix together cooked turkey, vegetables and tomato. Add a bit of ketchup or salsa for extra flavor.
Tip: The beans, peas and corn can be from a frozen mixed vegetable bag.
