Swedish Apple Pie

Ingredients
  • 5 Granny Smith apples , peeled and sliced
  • 1 1/4 cup sugar
  • 3 tsp. cinnamon
  • 3/4 cup melted margarine
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup chopped walnuts
Directions
Fill pie dish with apples, sprinkle on 1/4 cup sugar and the cinnamon. Combine melted margarine, the remaining 1 cup sugar, 1 egg and chopped walnuts. Pour over apples. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes or until golden. Top with whipped cream or ice cream and serve.
