This appetizer is the perfect finger food for a small-bites buffet.
Servings: Makes 24 pieces
Ingredients 2 pounds flank steak8 ounces chive and onion cream cheese , softened2 scallions , minced2 tsp. horseradish1/4 tsp. garlic powder1/4 tsp. saltToasted French bread crostini
Preheat grill. Season steak to taste with salt and pepper. Grill for 10 to 15 minutes over medium heat until desired doneness is reached. Let stand for 5 minutes and thinly slice.
Meanwhile, combine cream cheese, scallions, horseradish, garlic powder and salt in a medium bowl.
Spread spoonful of cream cheese mixture generously onto each bread round. Top with sliced steak.
