Ingredients 1 tsp. olive oil1 lb. lean ground turkey1 medium onion , diced1 carrot , peeled and diced1 medium green bell pepper diced2 cloves garlic , minced1/2 cup ketchup1 Tbsp. chili powder2 tsp. Worcestershire sauceSalt and pepper to taste4 warmed whole wheat hamburger buns
Heat a large nonstick skillet over medium heat. Add the olive oil, turkey, onion, carrot, pepper,and garlic. Sauté, stirring occasionally, until the turkey is cooked and the onions are translucent, 7 to 10 minutes. Add the ketchup, chili powder and Worcestershire sauce. Reduce the heat to low and simmer for at least 15 minutes. Serve with the buns.
