- 2 teaspoons dried oregano
- 1 pound green beans , trimmed
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
In a large saucepan, add 4 cups water and dried oregano; bring to a boil. Reduce heat; add beans. Boil until tender, 5 to 7 minutes. Strain; season with salt and pepper.
