Roasted butternut squash with steak
Recipe created by Mark Gaier and Clark Frasier
This elegant side dish is delicious, hearty, and best of all, super-simple. Try it paired with Steak with Cranberry Sauce.


Servings: Serves 6
Ingredients
  • 2 medium butternut squash , halved, seeds removed, and sliced
  • 2 Tbsp. honey
  • 2 Tbsp. butter or olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. freshly ground black pepper
Directions
Preheat oven to 375°. Toss all ingredients in a large bowl. Spread on 2 parchment paper-lined cookie sheets and cover with foil. Bake until tender, about 1 hour.
