raspberry thyme spritzer

Mix this fruit-infused syrup with sparkling water for a grown-up soda that can be far less sweet than store-bought sugar bombs.



Makes 1 cup

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup raspberries
  • Small bunch fresh thyme, about 4 to 5 sprigs
  • 1 cup sugar

Directions

Active time: 10 minutes
Total time: 1 hour


In a small saucepan over medium-high heat, combine raspberries, thyme, 1 cup water, and sugar and bring to a boil. Stir until sugar is completely dissolved. Set aside to cool, then strain and pour into an airtight glass bottle. Store in the refrigerator up to a month.
