Peppermint Hot Chocolate
Enjoy the cool along with the hot when you add a touch of mint to your chocolate.

Servings: Makes about 1 cup
Ingredients
  • 2 ounces (1/2 cup) finely ground (in a coffee grinder) or grated bittersweet chocolate  
  • 1 cup milk (for best results, use 2 percent fat or higher)
  • 2 tablespoons chopped mint leaves
  • Peppermint stick, for garnish
  • Whipped cream , for garnish
Directions
In a saucepan, combine the chocolate and milk, add the mint leaves and bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Boil 1 minute. Garnish with whipped cream and a peppermint stick. Serve immediately.
