- 1 cup heavy cream
- 8 ounces semisweet chocolate , chopped
- 3 cups whole milk
- Unsweetened whipped cream , for topping
In the same saucepan, over medium heat, heat milk until hot. Then pour into the mugs, stir, and serve immediately with generous dollops of whipped cream.
* Variations: Grind fresh nutmeg or sprinkle cinnamon over whipped cream. Or, add 2 teaspoons créme de menthe or Kahlúa to each mug.
