- 1 lime , cut into wedges
- Kosher salt or margarita salt
- 1/2 cup high-quality tequila
- 2 Tbsp. triple sec
- 1 1/2 cups margarita mix or sweet-and-sour mix
- Mint sprigs , for garnish (optional)
Rub lime wedges around the rims of 4 glasses; reserve wedges. Dip glasses in salt. Put tequila, triple sec, and margarita mix in a blender with 2 cups of ice, and blend on high for 1 to 2 minutes until ice is crushed. Divide mixture among prepared glasses; garnish each with a lime wedge and mint sprig (if using).
