Sweet peaches and tangy ginger take on tequila and create a lip-smackingly delicious frozen drink!
Servings: Makes 8 generous margaritas
Ingredients 12 ounces fresh peach puree or frozen peaches pureed4 ounces ginger syrup2 ounces lime juice6 ounces peach or nectar juice8 ounces tequila4 ounces cointreau4 lime wedgesColored sugars and lime and candied ginger and peach wedges for garnish
Place pureed peaches, ginger syrup, lime juice and peach juice or nectar in a blender and mix together. Pour the mixture into a bowl and place in the freezer. When ready to serve, add the alcohol. Combine well, pour into glasses, garnish and serve.
You can also place the mixture into an ice cream maker and make a lot for a party. With this method, the mixture stays frozen longer and has a better consistency.
