Fresh Lime and Honey Tea
Created by Rori Trovato
Take your tea south of the border—lime and honey make tea a little more Columbian-style.

Servings: Makes 4 servings
Ingredients
  • 3 whole limes
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 3 tablespoons loose black tea or 4 tea bags
Directions
While applying pressure, roll limes several times on counter to release their juices. Cut into 1/4-inch slices and place in a large teapot, reserving 4 slices. Add honey and tea to pot. Pour 4 cups boiling water over tea and let steep 3 minutes. Garnish teacups with reserved lime slices and pour in hot tea. (If using loose tea leaves, pour through a strainer.) Serve with Cinnamon Honey Cookies .
