Power Green Drink
In an exclusive webisode (which you can watch here), Sarah meets with nutritionist Angella Cole, and learns how to get all of her fiber (which is found in fresh green fruits and vegetables) in one glass.
Follow the recipe below to make this green drink, which will clean and flush your system and is a natural diuretic! Angella tells us that the juice "is fresh and pleasantly delicious when served cold!"
- 1/2 Chopped Organic Green Apple
- 1/2 Sliced Cucumber
- 1 cup ' 'Spinach
- 1 cup ' 'Romaine' '
- 3 Stalks Celery
- 1 cup Chopped Asparagus
- 1/8 cup pure lime juice
- 1/4 cup of water
1. With any counter top juicer or blender, add all of the ingredients, one at a time.
2. You may also add fresh squeezed lemon or fresh ginger (This is optional. The Duchess likes ginger so Angella used ginger instead of lemon).
3. Serve over ice and enjoy!
TIP: If you use a inexpensive juicer, you must drink the juice within 20 minutes of juicing because the air will start to delineate the nutrients.
