Make More Than You NeedRecycle as much as you can and make as many leftovers as you can. Use up your food and try to waste as little as possible. It's something I'm really conscious of in the kitchen. I try to make more than I need, that way I have a meal for the next day. That also cuts down on energy in your kitchen. I only need to cook every other day. Ideally, you can cook less but still have home-cooked food. Cook a few things, save things—that will go a long way. © 2009 Jupiterimages Corporation
