Servings: Serves 8
Ingredients
  • 4 large navel oranges , halved and thinly sliced
  • 3 cups sugar
  • 2 cups cranberries
  • 2 Granny Smith apples , peeled, cored, and cut into 1/2-inch pieces
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • Pinch kosher salt
Directions
In a large plastic container, combine oranges and sugar. Mix well; cover and refrigerate overnight.

In a large saucepan, bring orange-sugar mixture to a boil over medium-high heat, about 12 minutes. Reduce heat to low and cook 45 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Add remaining ingredients and cook an additional 30 minutes. Remove from heat and serve at room temperature or chilled.
