Try this recipe for a delicious smoothie created by the women of the 20 Years Younger Challenge with the help of fitness expert Bob Greene.
Servings: Serves 1
- 2 large kale leaves
- 1/3 cup skim milk
- 1/2 cup strawberries
- 1/2 cup blackberries , plus more to taste
- 3/4 cup fat-free plain yogurt
- 1/2 cup fresh squeezed orange juice
- 2 Tbsp. ground flaxseed
Rinse kale in cold water to make sure it's very clean. Blend kale and skim milk in a blender until finely ground. Add fresh berries, yogurt, orange juice and freshly ground flaxseed and blend until smooth. If more sweetness is desired, add additional blackberries.
