Apple and Thyme Martini Recipe

Servings: Makes 2 cocktails
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup vodka
- 2 tablespoons green apple syrup (such as Monin)
- 1/4 cup cloudy apple juice
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon thyme syrup
- 1/2 tablespoon Elderflower cordial
- Cubed ice
- 2 sprigs thyme (for garnish)
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup superfine sugar
- 6 sprigs Thyme
Directions
To make thyme syrup: Place water, sugar and 6 thyme sprigs in a saucepan over high heat and stir to dissolve sugar. Bring to the boil and cook for 3 minutes. Remove from heat, allow to cool and discard thyme sprigs. Makes 1 cup.
To make Apple and Thyme Martini: Place the vodka, apple syrup, apple juice, lemon juice, thyme syrup and elderflower cordial in a cocktail shaker with ice cubes and shake. Strain into a cocktail glass and garnish with thyme sprigs. Makes 2.
