freetheslaves.net event. "It was a really tough read, but it made my heart race, and I couldn't help wanting to do something about human trafficking," she says. "Emmanuelle and I have been talking about going to Cambodia to visit the author and the safe houses that she's opened for these girls who have escaped or been rescued from the brothel system. Somaly Mam is a heroic woman."
