In the just-released memoir, Life (Little, Brown), Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards shows his well-known cheeky side: "Come on in. It's a bit chilly out," he told police waiting to arrest him in 1967. But the real revelation is how sweetly self-deprecating he can be. About hooking up with longtime wife Patti Hansen, he writes: "I couldn't believe that she would want to hang around with a slob like me." More to the point, who wouldn't?
