Mitch Albom, author of For One More Day, has written nine books, including the international best-sellers The Five People You Meet in Heaven and Tuesdays with Morrie.
Tuesdays with Morrie chronicles the time Mitch spent with his beloved college professor, Morrie Schwartz, during the final months of Morrie's life. Since hitting bookstores in 1997, it's gone on to become the most successful memoir ever published.
In 1999, Oprah produced the film version of Tuesdays with Morrie, which stars Jack Lemmon and Hank Azaria. The film garnered four Emmy Awards, including best television film, director, actor and supporting actor.
An award-winning journalist and radio host, Mitch also wrote the screenplay for the film version of The Five People You Meet in Heaven and is an established playwright.
