Ellen Burstyn (Posey Benetto)
Academy Award® winner Ellen Burstyn's illustrious career encompasses film, stage and television. In 1975, Ellen became the third woman in history to win both the Tony Award® and the Academy Award in the same year. She was honored for her work in Bernard Slade's Same Time, Next Year on Broadway and for her role in Martin Scorsese's film, Alice Doesn't Live Here Anymore.

Over the past 30 years, Ellen has received five other Oscar nominations for her work in The Last Picture Show, The Exorcist, Same Time, Next Year, Resurrection and Requiem for a Dream.

Ellen's also known for her work on the small screen. She's received multiple Emmy nominations for her television roles. In 2004, she co-starred in the television film version of Mitch Albom's The Five People You Meet in Heaven.
