Expectations don't get any higher. Find out if Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 —the final movie, based on the second half of the last book in the record-shattering series—delivers. (And see star Daniel Radcliffe's other favorite books here!) July 15 The movie version of Lisa See's Snow Flower and the Secret Fan explores the intense friendship between two girls in 19th-century China and two in modern Shanghai—but adds a romantic subplot involving Hugh Jackman. Purists may squawk. But hey...it's Hugh Jackman. August 12 That was fast: Kathryn Stockett's best-selling The Help—about racial relations among women in the 1960s South—became a blockbuster the minute it was published. Two years later, we get to see the story on film, starring Viola Davis as the formidable Aibileen. August 19 Anne Hathaway and Jim Sturgess star in One Day, which comes from last year's best-seller by English novelist David Nicholls. The plot spans 20 years, as two very different students meet at the University of Edinburgh, then go on to lead separate but intersecting lives.
