An all-star cast, including Geena Davis, Madonna, Lori Petty and Rosie O'Donnell, got us feeling the girl power. Who says we can't keep up with the boys? In between montages of strong women kicking butt, A League of Their Own gives us incredible depictions of such varied bonds as husband and wife, coach and team, sisters, and friendship—all of which are especially touching set against the backdrop of World War II. Tom Hanks is stellar as the alcoholic-turned-good-guy coach. But sorry Tommy, this one goes out to the ladies.
