Mark Wahlberg and Christian Bale star as half-brothers in this true-life drama about an up-and-coming boxer and his brother. Wahlberg plays Micky, a struggling fighter who has lived his life in his brother's shadow and is dying for a shot to make a name for himself. Bale plays Dickie, a star boxer-turned-crack-addict, who continually lets his brother down. The all-star cast also includes Melissa Leo and Amy Adams, both of whom, along with Bale, are nominated for their performances this year. |
