Gabrielle Anwar
She smolders onscreen as a spy on USA's Burn Notice, but actress Gabrielle Anwar has left her mark in many roles. She's danced the tango with Al Pacino in Scent of a Woman, taken leaps of faith in Wild Hearts Can't Be Broken and brought history to life on The Tudors—to name a few.

Now, Gabrielle shares a few of the things that mean most to her.
Screening Room: If you weren't an actress, what do you think you'd like to do?

Gabrielle Anwar: There are so many things I'd like to do even though I am an actress. I hope that I'm not just going to be that one thing forever. I think I'd like to write, to paint. I wish I had a great voice because I would love to be a singer. I'd love to get my Joni Mitchell on and strum my guitar and sing to anyone who would listen.

SR:
Do you have a favorite place to travel?

GA: Home. Traveling home is always my favorite place to go.

SR:
If there's any lesson you'd like to pass on to your children, what would it be?

GA: Authenticity. Really staying true to one's self at any age, even when they're so little. It's so easy to be sort of blown around in the direction of the wind and battered by the elements, and I think it's so crucial for one to stay autonomous.

SR:
If you could have dinner with anyone living or dead, who would it be?

GA: Oprah, of course!

SR:
What are you most grateful for?

GA: My breath.
