Established: Formed in Los Angeles and released their first album in 1997. 

Members: Brothers Nick and Drew Lachey, Justin Jeffre and Jeff Timmons.

Biggest hits: "Because of You," "The Hardest Thing," "Give Me Just One Night (Una Noche)" and "My Everything." 

Memorable Moment: Jessica Simpson appeared in the music video for "My Everything."

Trademark style: Shirts off and fireman suits. These guys had no problem showing off their muscles and wore lots fireman gear to coincide with their 98° and Rising CD cover. 

Best lyric: You're my sunshine after the rain / You're the cure against my fear and my pain / 'Cause I'm losing my mind / When you're not around / It's all... it's all... / It's all because of you" — "Because of You"

Where they are today:
In 2002, the group separated to pursue solo endeavors. Drew won the second season of Dancing with the Stars. Nick released two solo albums and had a very public marriage and divorce with Jessica Simpson. Jeff also appeared on the 2007 VH1 reality show Mission: Man Band. Justin went the political route and ran for mayor of Cincinnati, Ohio.
