Evelyn Resh, CNM, MPH is the author of The Secret Lives of Teen Girls: What Your Mother Wouldn’t Talk About but Your Daughter Needs to Know (Hay House). She is a certified nurse-midwife and sexuality counselor with more than 20 years of experience in the fields of integrative women's health and sexual health. She lives and works in both western Massachusetts and Tucson, Arizona. As the director of Women’s Health and Sexuality Services for Miraval Resorts in Tucson, Resh lectures, offers private consults and conducts in-depth workshops on the topics of parenting teen girls and improved sexual satisfaction for adults.

At home in western Massachusetts, she sees clients in her sexuality counseling practice, lectures for lay and professional audiences on sexual health and satisfaction, takes long walks in the country and tends to her chickens.
