The awesome-est , best tasting, melt in your mouth pizza can only be @ Stephano's Pizza located in Fairfield, CT
This is a must taste. So Yummy!
I love this pizza so much it just so happened that I changed into my Wedding dress in their restroom. Says something about the pizza.
I've had a lot of pizza in my day and I swear Varsity Pizza has the best slice. Located on the Syracuse University Campus. The crust, sauce and texture is amazing.. Never tasted a piece quite like this, and its the same every time. ![]()
The best pizza I've ever had was from "Big Looy's" in Hendersonvillle, Tn They use provel cheese and have some unusual combinations - one of which is called Bourbon Street pizza. I wish Carol King could visit this place, she would really enjoy the atmosphere and the pizza. - Thanks
Hello, I am writing to suggest that the next time Gayle is on a "Best Pizza in America", hunt she must go to a town by the name of Oak Ridge, Tennessee, and visit "Big Ed's Homemade Pizza". It is so very good, that is all that they serve. It has been at this location since just after WWII, and it is undoubtedly the best pizza anywhere. There are celebrities, and political figures who say it is an absolute must when they are in the Knoxville/Oak Ridge, Tennessee area. They make the pizza entirely from scratch and the crust is the best!!!! People line up outside on both sides of the door, and I have seen it go down the sidewalk and around the corner. It is the ABSOLUTE BEST anywhere!!! Sincerely, Jackie
Ok Gayle, I know that you found some of the best pizza places in America. But if you just happen to be in the
southren part of Italy, I know of a wonderful pizza place. It is called Ristorante Pizzeria City Pizza located in
a small town of Vico Equense located north of Sorrento. The pizza is made by the meter and you can have many
different types on one pizza. The ingrediance is all fresh and prepared that day. Afterwards take a walk through
town square to walk the calories off. In order for you to expereince this wonderful pizza, I would recommend
to stay at Hotel Capo la Gala located on the cliff of this beautiful coast. Both of these places have great websites.
I do hope that you will get to travel just a little bit to try this wonderful pizza as I feel that this is truely the birthplace of pizza.
Prego, Renee

I am a very picky eater and pizza is my favorite food. I grew up in New York and have been lucky to be surrounded by good pizza. BUT- the very best pizza in New York is Two Boots pizza. There are now several locations...including one in Bridgeport, CT (which I am very happy about since I moved to CT 3 years ago and now don't have to make "special trips" just for my pizza!). The "Two Boot" are the book of Italy and the boot of Louisiana...because it is a Cajun Style Pizza! It has a corn meal crust and spicy sauce. Everyone I introduce to it falls in love too! Seriously...it's like heaven.
THE BEST PIZZA IN AMERICA IS HERE IN BARAGA,MICHIGAN. THE PLACE IS CALL IRENE'S PIZZA LOCATED IN BARAGA. YES THEY DO MAKE THE BEST AND I HAVE ATE MY SHARE OF PIZZAS IN MY LIFE. I enjoyed today's show, although my comment is in regards to the Cole Haan Shoe Collection. After researching the Cole Haan web site, I determined that the entire line is out of my price range. This is very sad because the shoe/boots appear to be very "wearable". I am a nursing instructor who stands the entire work day, usually in ugly but comfortable shoes. Maybe one day I will be able to justify spending $200 for a pair of work shoes.
