Please thank Tina Fey,

She's shown my daughter what she can expect in the real world if she chooses a high profile career - ridicule, criticism and denigration beyond the initial funny sketch, and that she can expect her worst critics to be of her own gender. Yeah rah Tina - I can only hope you experience the same in your next endeavor.

Oprah Oprah Oprah!!!!! Please stop with the celebrities!! I know you are friends with them and enjoy their company, but it's boring for the rest of us to watch you all fawn over each other!!!

Pleaes get back to doing stories we care about. There is more than enough celebrity saturated media out there, you were the one show that did interesting, relatable stories that we didn't see or hear everywhere else. (I am sure you think your interviews w/the stars are somehow "different," trust me on this, they're not)

Will Smith is such a gentleman and a world class star. He seems to genuinely care about his audience. Whenever I see footage of him, at the very least, he takes a few minutes to acknowledge his fans if not take pictures and sign autographs. He has not forgotten that he once was a part of the general public, in spite of his being the four billion dollar man now. I am most in awe of how he and wife Jada are raising their children. What a great role model not only for parents but also for children. In this day, where children of celebrities have the means to have everything they want, and act like spoiled brats, it is refreshing to see someone who raises their children to work hard for and be appreciative of the things they have. I have been a fan of his from the beginning and he has never disappointed or made me regret being a fan.

I really enjoyed the show but you must do at least 2 hours when you have Will Smith on. And news mom will be alright.

I couldn't agree more. I LOVE Will Smith. He is such a classy guy. He and Jada really seem to have life dialed in, don't they? HEY! I have an idea! Once Obama's terms are over: WILL SMITH FOR PRESIDENT!!! ;)

Oprah,

Not that you care, but just like YOUR "President-elect, you have let a lot of us behind this. I have been a regular of your show for 18 years and I will never watch again. I am a white, conservative Christian and a strong supporter of Sarah Palin. Sarah Palin made history by being the 1st Republican VP candidate. You refused to have her on your show but now you have on the actress that TRIED to mock her. Well the joke is on Tina. She is not even close to being as beautiful, smart ,funny etc. as Sarah. I guess you were afraid she may actually steal your guys thunder.

How does it feel Oprah to be a part of a movement that has divided the country further when it comes to race? I'm sure you are proud of yourself

What did Will Smith say? Did he say he never really felt apart of America until now? Ha!, I don't get this. What is he eluding too? That Obama being elected he now feels 100 % American. What kind of message does this send. Were any of Will Smith's rights not given to him.

I love Will Smith and don't know a soul that doesn't.

I am watching the show right now, and for the past two days there has been all this talk about how Obama being the first african american and other african american men being able to tell their sons that it is possible for them to be anything and really believe it. I get emotional over this too, however i keep thinking to myself that there is something that is just getting left out.. I am trying very hard to understand why more people arent saying what am i going to tell my daughters? I am only 20 years old, but i am having a very hard time understanding this.. I cannot wait until history is made for women in this country.... in the mean time i guess i have to find a way to understand!

Just watching the Oprah show in my kitchen while baking when Tina Fey came on. Although it may be funny, it is becoming disgusting to keep treating Sarah Palin in this manner. Oprah appears to be laughing at Sarah directly and not at Tina!!! This is disgusting! They are both laughing at the native Alaskans. Sarah has the typical accent of an Alaskan. I have been to Alaska and witnessed the accent myself. Maybe Oprah and Tina should visit that great big and beautiful State of Alaska to see for themselves. Oprah's condescending manner is not the way to unite the nation. I would never have treated the President-Elect and the First Lady-Elect like that. I was unable to see the rest of the segment as I ran right to my computer to let you know of my disgust. So I do not know what happened. But I believe that Oprah should apologize for that segment entirely.

I am also bothered by your choice to have Tina Fey on your show today. You made this choice after being aware that many of your old fans felt disappointed that you would not have Sarah Palin on the show prior to the election. I was alright with this as it was your choice. To then have on the one person who mocked her for a month says to me that you have NO respect for the viewing audience that you have alienated. Keep showing your true colors and these choices will catch up with you!

I wish Oprah would explain this "shift in consciousness" statement she is always spewing. What is this "shift" ? Who has the shift? Where does this "shift of consciousness come from". Do we have this "shift" only if we love and believe in Obama?

You have everyone and their brother on this site speaking of this "Shift" and all I see is sheep. Oprah's sheep and not God's sheep.

I said this the moment I heard Oprah was having Obama on and then decided to do a podcast on the ET's book. It's called mind control...a shift in consciousness.

Now I am not against Obama at all but he is now our savior. Jesus Christ is the Messiah and if anyone has a "shift in consciousness" God will be the one to give it to the person.
