The Most Talented Girl in the World

Posted on Sep 5, 2008 10:27 AM

The girl with "The Voice" is back! She's from a small town on the other side of the planet, and she's got a big voice that brings crowds to their feet. Oprah makes a dream come true for the teen sensation she calls "The Most Talented Girl in the World." She started belting out tunes in talent shows in her hometown and quickly became a huge Internet sensation thanks to a singing talent that she says comes from somewhere "bigger than herself."

Her story should serve as an inspiration. We shouldn't let anything - defeat, hardships or detractors - stop us from pursuing our dreams.

I want every one to know that Charice Pempengco lived a HORRIBLE life in the Philippines she is a singing miracle from all the tribulations she has over come from the begining of her life. She had a irresponsible father, her house got robbed, parents cheated in the contests she attended in and most importantly a filipino game show was supposed to make her win but instead some parents bribed the producer. She has a very powerful voice and now i truly know that heroes are made not born. =]

Born and raised in the Philippines, a single mom who as my youngest daughter said, I raised them single-handedly, I can EASILY relate to Charice's life. Growing up in the Philippines, I can say was both a blessing and a cursed. I was blessed with a wonderful support group which is my family but a cursed because of all the corruptions in our government. The country can never moved forward because of the crooks and thieves in the government. I watched the life story of Charice on television here in Seattle and I know right a way that with her perseverance and the endless love and support of her mom this girl will be an epitome of what the bible said: "WHEN GOD CLOSES DOOR HE NEVER FORGETS TO OPEN A WINDOW" You go girl, Charice, make the Filipino proud for once!!!!

We saw the original talent show on Filipino TV, and Charice was by far the very best contestant! For some reason I cannot fathom, she only placed third in the finals. I was totally shocked! It was so unfair. It's wonderful now that she's gone so far and is finally being recognized for the really amazing talent that she is. Just like Arnel Pineda, the new lead singer for Journey, they were both discovered on YouTube.

I was in the audience last May when the show aired with her singing. It was just amazing. I wish everybody had a chance to here her in person. I'm interested in what has happened to her since then. I'll be watching the show Tuesday, Oprah.

how sad that it will not be aired in the philippines. this is the beginning of her stardom. as what i've said few months back, she'll be the next big thing in the music industry and it will happen on the last quarter of this year or first quarter of 2009, but i guess i was wrong because it came early. :^0 stay humble Princess!
