I'm sure other people have probably recommended Diana Gabaldon books here before, but I just finished Outlander and I'm on to the next book. If you miss a GRAND book like Pillars, then you need to pick up a copy of Outlander right now and read it!!! You won't regret it. Amazing characters, stunning setting, suspenseful plot and lots of adventure and yes, romance of course. And the great thing is, there are 6 books and the 7th is due out in 2009 and there is talk possibly of an 8th book. If you miss Pillars, like I did, go buy Outlander NOW :)

I love them both and frankly was so excited when Oprah picked PILLARS. I think you will love the OUTLANDER series. Sometimes I read them over just because!

So far I've read 5 books and I absolutely LOVE them! Gabaldon is amazing, and I recommend her books to anybody who's looking for something captivating, romantic, thrilling... Aw, I love it!!
