Alot of what you say makes since to me. I've tried a long time to figure out why it seems that some important parts are missing from the Word and I no longer care to be afraid to talk about it. I believe that God is love. And as a woman I have longed to know my place in the story of Creation and not just to be the fault of everything gone wrong. I don't believe it literally anymore but am patiently seeking my truth about it all. Your reasoning is simialar to what I've thought. But I also looked at the single cell and how it doesn't need to be joined with anything to become two. It just splits in two. I thought well, to know something is to experience it. Maybe God desired to know what He was not (Female, She) ? Hum? It is such a shame to have such a wonderful story with so many ?"s about important parts/people. ie. Able? Mary Magdeline? Jesus' teen years for goodness sakes? As a teen I wanted to know how Jesus delt with a girl pushing up him.
