I am looking forward to this episode. I was the biggest Cosby Show fan because it was the first show on TV that represented what my family looked like. No my parents were no doctor/lawyers but I could relate to the story lines and the characters looked like me!!!!! I remember one of the first episodes when I was a child when "Rudy" had to deal with the death of her gold fish and I thought that was one of the best episodes. Well, there were so many. I look forward to seeing what everyone one is up to because I read somewhere that Bill Cosby really stressed education to the kids and that just about all of them went on to get college degrees. YEAH!!!!!!!! Thanks Oprah for having them on and showing young child actors in a positive light.
My husband and I saw David a few years ago when He was in Las Vegas. Let me tell you, he has still got it. ( David, I am so proud of you, to be strong after all that you have been through in your life, ) God Bless you and your lovely Wife and Children. Always, Sharon from Wisconsin It is so refreshing,to see these kids all grown up,and living clean, prosperous lives. Everyone looks so wonderful and healthy!. I wish Lisa Bonet could have made the reunion. We all know, that she went through some hard times, when she left the Cosby Show, but keeping her faith in God,helped her to overcome her problems. The Cosby children are an example,of having two loving parents in the household, who (although) had demanding careers, still had time, love and patience for their children. The Cosby Show was (to me) the "Essence" of true family meaning.;-)
It was great to see David Cassidy on Oprah today but I say it with mixed emotions. I too loved him as a kid and I know all his songs by heart but a few years ago he was in town on one of the oldies radio stations and was taking phone calls on the air by his fans. I was lucky enough to be one of the callers. When we got on the subject of baseball he invited me to a White Sox game while he was in town. Unfortunately after the call ended, I was "uninvited" to the game with him and he offered no apologies. The radio station was dumbfounded. We had no clue as to why this happened. My whole family had hear the call and felt really bad when they heard that he did not live up to it. I had hoped that David treated his fans better than this but unfortunately you get to see the other side of people sometimes. It forever broke my heart. I will not think of him in the same way anymore.

Wonderful show Oprah gang, and thanks from all of us whose families
were configured like the Huxtables at a time when folk thought it was a
fiction.
What the show did for my family was make it okay to stop trying to hide the richness and fullness of things African American as we lived in a world where there was no appreciation or collecting art from Black Masters. Yep , for us it was a simple as the show making it vogue to collect art that really meant something to us and our journey. I was an adult young mom when the show began and I watched every single episode with my then toddler who just loved to dance with the music of the show. well my now adult son enjoys the reruns of the show. He grew up being in age between the characters Rudy and Olivia and still thinks both young women, Keisha and Raven, are some of the most beautiful females walking. All of you, even Lisa whom we heard strayed a wee bit, but now is back on track, have grown into wonderful examples of how children of fame can blossom into wonder whole adults as long as there are looming, kind, adult, cultured, wise, intelligent grown folks involved in your lives. Thanks to your parents too, for gifting us with your talents:x.
I am only nineteen so I'm not really sure who David Cassidy is. However, I definately know who the Cosby Kids are. I try to watch them multiple times daily. I am so mad they haven't been on Nick at Nite in a while. I love all of the Cosby Kids, I wish Lisa Bonet "Denise" was going to be on today--congrats on the new baby Lisa. I am so glad that there is a show to be watched by millions everyday twenty-four years after the start and sixteen after it's end. I think that the Cosby Kids are great role-models. They went on to college and are getting or have already gotten degrees. This teaches young kids the importance of education. The Cosby Kids are positive role-models for young kids today, they are not in the news acting "crazy" or drinking on camera. I love the fact that Raven Symone "Olivia" has her own show on Disney Channel. I like how it teaches us the good and the bad in a positive way. I personally enjoyed the last episode when they thought "corey" was smoking, and they had all of his friends tell him not to do it and then the girl who was smoking decided to quit. I really appreciate that. I really enjoy when people from the Cosby Show and family matters guest star on "That's so Raven!" Raven is only three years and eight days older than me so she is definately one of my role-models. I always wished I was "winnie" so that I can be on the show and have scenes w/everyone especially Raven. I would like to know what happened to the twins--all of the kids who played them. Also, what about the Cosby Kids' friends they were great additions to the show. "Janice," "Cockroach" "Charmaine" "Lance" and "Justine"(May she rest in Peace) are my favorite Cosby friends. You know you're watching a good show when there is little criticism about it. I can't wait until today's show it shall be very exciting and very entertaining. I love all of the Cosby Kids' movies and show; however, they will always be known as the Cosby Kids who brought joy into the lives of everyone. I hope the show is still on when I have kids, so they, too, can experience what I have in watching The Cosby Show
Thank you Bill, Phylisha, Sabrina, Lisa, Malcom, Tempest, Keshia, Raven, the twins--"winnie, and Nelson", The husbands and girlfriends, and all of the Cosby Kids' friends and any one who was ever on the show for keeping us laughing and learning for twenty-four years!
Sincerely,
Vanessa P.

What a fun show it was today. Memories, nostalgia, fun times of the past and great music. My big musical fav is actually Rick Springfield and I adored Bobby Sherman, but hey, who can forget "I think I love you". Doesn't the mere title conjure up images of youth, smiles, easy viewing tv, Tiger Beat Magazine and records? lol
I guess it depends on your age but I loved watching the show today. Cosby Show was a cool show and it was neat to see the "kids" all grown up. I had no idea that little Olivia was "Raven". Thanks Oprah for giving us a blast of happiness and an excuse to get up dance and smile on a cold snowy Chicago day!
Cindy -sorry to hear about your invite on air (wow!) and then uninvite off radio story. What a bummer. No words...
I've heard a frew other stories too...
but today was just all about fun.
Maybe Oprah will start having lots of teen heartthrobs on - 1 a week would be good - hope Rick Springfield is next and then the honorable paramedic who donated his salary (Bobby Sherman).....have to pull out some of my old mags

Yes, Rick was supposed to be on this show, but it went long and so he'll be on another show with Henry Winkler ("Fonzie" from Happy Days).
Hopefully soon. Rick was fantastic. Oprah interviews him and he sings as well.

Oh how very exciting - I can't wait!
You never know what you'll get when you tune into the Oprah show - isn't that great. How fun! I taped today's show for a bunch of friends who are big David fans and we're all going to watch it together and remember those happy times. Guess we'll do it again and have a Rick Springfield party when he's on! All good stuff.
