It's times like this I wish I had TV!
I usuallly have to read about the Oprah shows on the "net" or drop by my Mom's house to watch it! I hope this show offers more video on line - and Oprah's website offers more on-line videos of show segments in the future??????(Hint Hint) I am one of the "working poor" and had to give up on TV - satellitte/cable over four years ago! It was eat or watch TV- I picked eat. But as I got on the scales today...maybe a starvation diet wouldn't have been a bad idea and have TV and the Oprah Show???? (smirk - at 5 feet - one inch at 200 lbs.) Can't wait to check in Monday night on the website to see what happens? Hope to find inspiration and see the 100 pound weightloss feature. Cheers! Mini

HI Valpomom4, "Eat, Pray Love by Elizabeth Gilbert" was the book Oprah mentioned to the audience member. Thank you for asking. -HarpoBear, Oprah.com Community Producer
Just watched the show. I love when Dr. oz is on.
Awesome show today!! I learned a lot of valuable information. I am currently on Atkins to try to shed 100lbs, but I have to say that Dr. Oz made a lot of sense to me. Not sure which way to turn at the moment...lol
Also, just wondering about peanut butter? Is it something good that can be included in healthy eating?
Thanks
i hate to disagree with Dr. Oz but not all yellow & orange tomatoes are unripe red ones. There are Golden Jubilee & Lemon Boy, intentionally NOT red tomatoes. i do not know if there is any research about them but they are supposed to be lower in acid than red tomatoes.
as an ulcer sufferer with possible GERD, & a bunch of newly diagnosed gallstones that are wreaking havoc on me, the less acid the better. am also anemic & must take iron with vitamin C rather than certain juices because of the acid problem. it also seemed that Bob Greene was contradicting all that Dr Oz had said re: fresh fruits, vegetables & fish. Too confusing. Bob Greene should stick to exercise & let the good dr speak to what he has been trained to know. |
