Hi Gayle,

I listen to your show often, but your interview with Keysha Monk was so moving. Her journey was very similar to my journey in losing my job. When she began to cry and you told her not to apologize was the best line of the day. You are so right! Why should she apologize for hurting?

I must say that the interview helped me so much. Thank you for having her on. I have been struggling with the loss of my job, trying to get over the hurt and disbelief of it all. I thought I did everything right. I was productive, suggested innovative ideas, and helped to implement them. I loved my job and working with my colleagues. I have been trying to work through the process of what could I have done differently to have kept my job. Like Keysha, it's been really difficult to find a job and she is right, people in your industry don't always call you back.

Keysha's story was compelling and helped me turn the next corner. I knew from the time I lost my job that this test was going to be the making of a great testimony for me. I will keep you posted as to how it's going but please, please keep your listeners and readers abreast of how Keysha is doing as well. Her story really inspired me. Thank you for having guests on like her to share their story.

PS...I also got in lots of trouble in grade school by my teacher. He called my parents to share that I was an excellent student but talked too much. Thanks for sharing that story in your web video. It brought back such great memories for me and my parents. We laugh just talking about those days. LOL.
