BodyLogicMD?

I found BodyLogicMD online. Their site states that they are expert doctors in the area of BHRT, but I am just hoping to get some feedback on that? There's no way to directly contact the doctor...it all seems sort of "sales-y". The doctor in my area isn't even here yet, the practice doesn't open until November. I'm hesitant to spend $1000.00 (tests and consultation) when I can't find hardly anything online about the doctor and can't speak with her and she has not practiced in this area for me to even find local referrals.

Am I being overly cautious? Is BodyLogicMD a super reputable company for this issue? Does anyone know if their physicians are indeed expertly trained?

Thanks for any feedback at all. Its a big leap, trust-wise and financially, and I appreciate any input at all.

For the record, I am 48 years old and am currently on HRT that is not working so great for me. I've been hoping to find a BHRT doctor since all of this started for me about 4 years ago so I was very excited to find BodyLogicMD. However, the fact that I'm feeling some hesitation has me concerned.

If you are concerned enough to want to explore other options, I have a list of resources to help you find a doctor/compounding pharmacy in your area (you don't say what area you are from, but most areas have physicians who are proficient in BHRT who are not affiliated with Body Logic or any other chain of clinics/spas--- they are in private practice). Drop me an email at holyhormones@gmail.com and I am happy to get it out to you via email (the offer is open to anyone who is interested).....if you need a recommendation in the Charlotte, NC area or the Southern CA area (my own hormone doctor is there, no, it is not the Hall Center, this guy is board certified in Internal Medicine and specializes in BHRT) I can help with that, too. You are right to be concerned, I have counseled over 350 women in the last 6-7 months on finding a doctor who is right for them, and I consistently stress checking out any new doctor-----you would be amazed at some of the stuff that has come up when I have been doing research. There are a lot of really good, caring doctors out there, and sadly, a few quacks too. Don't get scammed. Hope everyone has a happy, hormonally balanced day!
