Rosie O'Donnell

I just read on MSNBC the comments made by Rosie on the Howard Stern show yesterday regarding Gayle/Oprah. I find them offensive at best. I truly feel badly for her and her children because I think she needs counseling/support. I also believe the Syrius XM radio system should seriously consider cutting off any ties with her given the statements made as Oprah and Gayle's contributions to XM Radio are so vast. If she is allowed on the radio, I may have to cancel both of my XM subscriptions. While I love to listen to Gayle in the few minutes I have driving to work or on the weekends (the replay shows), or Oprah when I'm running to lunch duty at my girls' school, I will be hard pressed to give XM a dime if Rosie is allowed to. P.S. I miss Rabbi Shmooley.

I absolutely love Oprah (she is amazing) Oprah radio and XM. I think Rosie says what she says for shock value. She doesn't appear to dislike Oprah she just has an opinion about a previous comment. Last I checked Rosie was allowed to speak her mind! I think extremely high of Oprah and haven't missed her show in years, but I think as far as XM radio is concerned, the diversity of the two talk show channels brings each of us different entertainment. I listen to them both! There is no way that they can be compared!

I missed the comments made by Rosie. However, as a former Rosie fan
back in the day her talk show began, it's been disappointing to see yet
another "star", so inflated with their own celebrity, lose their "check valve"
when spouting off sometimes extremist, one-sided opinions. What happened
with speaking your mind with truth AND respectfulness? It is true she is a
talented comedian, but she seems so bitter about life. I miss the old
Rosie. I do appreciate all that she does for children - so I will continue
to admire her for that.

O'Donnell needs to learn Grace. Too often there is no edit mode between the head and the mouth. I very much suspect quite often she speaks for pure shock value. This has cost her dearly in the past. She never seems to get the life lesson repeatedly offered by the outcome of her quite often negative depiction of others. She is obviously a well versed woman, but her deep seated anger of some imagined and not so imagined injustices keep cropping up in her intention, or not intentional slights of others.
