Oprah To Have Sarah Palin on Show

Posted on Oct 20, 2009 7:59 PM

Looks like Oprah is going 'rogue' and is having Sara Palin on her show on November 19. Just announced...."In a world exclusive, Oprah Winfrey will interview, for Alaska Governor Sarah Palin, for an episode of "The Oprah Winfrey Show" to air Monday, Nov. 16, 2009. Winfrey and Palin will meet for the very first time on the episode, which will mark Palin's first interview to discuss her upcoming book, "Going Rogue: An American Life" and her first-ever appearance on the "Oprah" show.

Sorry to see that Sarah Palin is going to sell out and appear on Oprah's show. Remember Oprah would have no candidates on her show during the campaign last year....only the sainted Barack Hussein Obama.

What are you talking about? Oprah did not have any of the candidates on her her. President Obama did not appear during his candidacy. None of them did. He appeared on her show before he ran for President. There is a huge difference. Oprah has integrity. I am wondering if Ms Palin will be able to respond to her questions with the same kind of integrity that Oprah has. If she will be upfront, speak intelligently and with dignity. That would be refreshing. Something she has not displayed in the past.

Why would you think this is selling out? Hasn't that been her M. O. since she burst on the scene? Sorry, I am not in agreement with you. Should be an interesting show. I wonder if you will watch it?

I am well aware of the fact that Oprah had Barack Hussein Obama on her show before he ran....she was the one who insisted he run to begin with, on the ridiculous show she did with him about his book. She did though on many times mention Barry during the campaign via the show, and don't forget she was out campaigning for him. Not sure how long you've been posting here, but back during the campaign many posters who suported Hillary Clinton or John McCain were run off and turned offo this messageboard due to Oprah's support of Obama.

She should have had Sarah Palin on her show just for the fact that she was the first woman nominated to be VP by the Republican Party, but Oprah was too petty for that. Remember the news articles about her staff wanting her to interview Palin then and she refused. Palin is selling out by going on Oprah's show....just my opinion. She should have given the 'exclusive' first interview to Greta Van Sustern. She defended the woman when many other women did not....and that includes Oprah. I will watch the show, or set my DVR and watch it later. I'm not a huge Palin fan to begin with, but do think the double standard exhibited by many women when it came to Palin was pretty pathetic.

Oprah why are some of your viewers so threatened with Sarah Palin. Both supporters of Obama and Sarah. I don't get it. You always are a fair interviewer and it should be good. I will say I am not an Obama fan like you are Oprah, but I believe it will be good tv. People need to relax...

Going "rogue"?

I'm sorry, but over the past several months Palin has lost all credibility in my eyes.

Too bad. The Republican Party will never rebound if it choses to gravitate toward its most intolerant, inflexible, and illusionistic membership.

It's bad enough here in Ohio, where John Boehner apparently believes he can succeed where Newt Gingrich failed.

Personally, I do not care for Sarah Palin. I am turned off by many of her characteristics. I was most offended by her winks during her campaining with John McCain. I can't believe she did that even now, a year later. She embarrasses me, just because that dimwit was campaining for a high office and winking as she did it. I always thought she was a joke. I couldn't even believe that she was the Vice Presidential nominee. Maybe Clarity 09 you may be the petty one, I guess it's all from where you are standing.

Well, at the very least it should be fun listening to her explain, once again, her extensive foreign policy experience because of having to deal with those Russians right on the Alaskan border...

Very disappointed that Oprah is giving this very dangerous woman air time to promote her lies and misrepresentations..... It would be different if Oprah wouldn't allow her to spout her lies and misrepresentations without a strong challenge.... but I can see Oprah being very accommodating and polite and allowing this woman to say whatever she pleases without calling her on it.

Why is she coming on this show?..... to improve her ratings and promote sales for Ms. Palin?

Very Disappointed in Oprah.

I could not agree more! Why bother now. Sara Palin, does not need to appear on Oprah's show that day or any day for that matter. Its too late now.We needed to hear from Sarah Palin on Oprah's show during the election! Perhaps, seeing an interview of Palin, before the election. Could possibly have changed peoples opinion of her and would have been more fair and balanced reporting on Oprah's part. I am sure not enough to change the outcome of the election, but to better educate the public on the choices they had. Too late.

Boring? Its people like you that give Women a bad name! You could only WISH to achieve, what that women has accomplished in her lifetime! As a matter of fact she has, so much more experience than Oboma did, to qualify to be President of the United States. I would take her resume, over his, any time, any day!!! Maybe you might like to post your resume, and see whose boring!

Let's see. She quit her governer position without completing her term, and she is very devisive. I am failing to see that she accomplished alot while she was in office. I would be be careful about touting her "skill" and qualifications. I will admit that she does a hellova wink though.

This response is abusive and should not have been permitted. I'm embarrassed, as a woman, to hear another woman talk to anyone in this way.

Maybe you've heard, Ray, of an old femsexist excuse: "Man's vice is wimmin's virtue."?

Self-exemptionism has played too big a role in the "wimmin's movement" for too long.

But like I have otherwise emphasized, there is a world of difference between FEMINISM and FEMSEXISM.

The trouble is THE MEDIA has always been so rabidly in love with the latter that it would have us believe that it's actually the former (a typically dirty media trick).

As for Palin?

So help me, if she makes some racist slur against Oprah, I'd hate to imagine how THE MEDIA might actually show its true colors by rushing to Palin's defense!

I wouldn't put it beyond them, let me tell you!
