i just moved this past month and i left everything, i mean everything at i old apartment and donated the few items i had of value. i want to start fresh, but i suddenly had a emergency and the money i was going to shop with has been cut down 75%. i am left with 25% of my furniture savings, what can i do? Show me how to bargin shop, my new apartment has the old fashion down south look, high ceilings, old fashion radiators, i love it. So i wan to do it up with old but new style. I'm on a budget so i've been looking into thrift stores for furniture but i don't have the eye for the look i'm looking for so i need some ideas. please help!

If you have Ikea near where you live, try starting there!

Craiglist, Bookoo yard sales website, Where do you live? If you are in a military town you can usually buy something off of people that are getting PCS'ed in a hurry that will sell you their brand new stuff. Its usually at a steal.

Craigslist is hit or miss, though. Especially if you live in a smaller city. I love craigslist for large metropolitan areas though. Just be careful and don't ever have anything shipped from craigslist. Meet in person.
