Italian Meatloaf

  1. 1 can (261/2 oz.) Del Monte Meat Flavored Spaghetti Sauce
  2. 11/2 lb. lean ground beef
  3. 1 cup coarsely crushed seasoned croutons or bread crumbs
  4. 1/2 cup chopped onion
  5. 1/2 cup chopped green pepper
  6. 2 eggs, beaten

    1. Reserve 1/2 can of spaghetti sauce for meat loaf topping. Combine remaining spaghetti sauce with all ingredients in large bowl; mix well.
    2. Press mixture into 9by5-inch loaf pan.
    3. Bake in loaf pan at 400ºF for 45 minutes. Pour the remaining sauce over the meat loaf and bake 15 minutes longer.
    4. When finished, garnish with parmesan cheese and serve with mashed potatoes, if desired to.
