I have discoved the best affordable organic skin care, so I must write a personal review!!!

So as I’ve said before in previous reviews, I am fascinated and
intrigued by completely natural skin care products with one caveat -
they have to work! I have found such a product… BRYCE Organics
California Meyer Lemon Exfoliating Polishing Scrub. The BRYCE line of products are made from
100% certified organic ingredients, contain no parabens, dyes,
artificial fragrances, petroleum products, propylene glycol, fillers or
talc, are hypo-allergenic, and not tested on animals.

I began using the California Meyer Lemon Facial Scrub about a month
ago and first impressions were that it smelled fabulous and really
added an enjoyable component to my morning and evening skincare
routine. I find the natural citrus aroma to be especially invigorating
in the mornings when I am really not ready to head off to work. It
puts me (not a morning person) in a better mood. As for the results, I
consistently have hormonal breakouts on my chin. I routinely use the
Clarisonic Face Brush which I find helps to exfoliate my skin and
prepare my pores for the application of lotions/serums/etc., however,
it just wasn’t enough. When I added the scrub into my routine, this
area of my chin improved dramatically. The breakouts don’t occur as
often (if at all) and seem to be smaller and less noticeable when (if)
they appear. Furthermore, I have unfortunately developed larger pores
on my nose over the years and the scrub helps to refine those as well.
Keep in mind that it fights the oilier areas of my face without drying
out (or making oilier) the other “normal” areas.

The scrub contains 100% certified organic ingredients: organic
premium cane sugar, organic virgin olive oil, organic apricot kernel
oil, organic avocado carrier oil, organic California meyer lemon oil,
and organic premium California meyer lemon extract. Lemon oil is an
astringent, a detoxifier, and skin rejuvenator. Its antiseptic
properties help treat pimples and various skin disorders and is often
recommended for oily skin. Olive oil is composed of essential fats and
is a great antioxidant (with vitamin E, Poliphenols and Flavonoids)
which protect the skin from the harmful free radicals and may delay the
aging of skin. Apricot Kernel oil is rich in essential fatty acids
like oleic and linoleic acid as well as vitamins E and A.

It easily penetrates the skin so it is good for prematurely aged,
irritated or dry skin. Avocado oil is a deep penetrating oil that is
rich in vitamins A, D and E, lecithin, and potassium. It is high in
sterolins, which may reduce age spots, help to heal sun damage and
scars. It is the sterolins (also called plant sterols) in the oil that
provides excellent moisture and softening to the skin. The premium cane
sugar provides the texture for the scrub. One confession… since I
scrub my entire face with this product including my lips I found that
it tastes great too! IThey are completely edible! How many products can you say that about?

Currently, BRYCE Organics offers a few other scrubs and a
moisturizing body spray. The company is planning to launch additional
products to complement its existing line in early 2009. Products in the
works are body bars, shampoos, conditioners, moisturizers, lip balms
and candles. If this company produces its new products with the same
care and quality as the California Meyer Lemon Facial Scrub (and I have
no reason to think otherwise), then we are all in for a wonderful skin
and body care line. I can’t wait to try it all! Check out this line
and read about this up and coming, innovative company!
