Love,love ,love Vera Wang. Till now I could only afford her perfume.I went to Kolhs and spent three hours bought a killer violet ruffled blouse,pair of shoes,jeans and earrings. Thank you so much. The clothes are a reflection of someone who cares and takes a lot of pride in her work. They make me feel like a movie star wearing them. Thank you

Is it just me or is $60 for a sweater NOT that affordable? Maybe I am cheap but I don't think $60 for a sweater is a good price. Maybe $20. NOT $60. Is it just me?????:|

I love the line! I think it's great for tomboyish girls, who want to dress up, but don't like clothing that's too uncomfortable or expensive. Also Kristy, most stylish clothing costs $100+ dollars. Perhaps $20 is reasonable, for a sweater from K-Mart.

My point is that what is wrong with a sweater from Kmart?? You don't need to spend 100+ on ONE piece of clothing. You can look stylish for A LOT less than that.

Does anyone remember that Vera Wang made coats from the fur of sweet hamsters?! It took hundreds of hamsters' lives to make one coat. What did they do to her? They are sweet innocent animals who deserved a good life like any other, but she had them killed for clothing. Does Vera Wang look good now? It's disgusting!!!!

I'm with Kristy. I understand that fashion designers charge alot for their LABELS. I just can't justify spending $60 on a sweater, or shirt, or slacks especially when I can go to Target and get good quality clothes for half the price. I also love, love the fact that Sarah Jessica Parker has cute clothes for $20 or below at Steve and Barry's, now THAT is what I call affordable.

Haven't seen the show yet, but NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO I would NEVER pay $60 for a sweater of any kind. Why? I work too hard for my money to blow it that way.

Kohl's is always putting things on sale. For instance, that $60.00 sweater is presently 30% off, and if you have a Kohl's charge they take off an additional 15%. Therefore, the sweater would really only cost $35.70. I do not think that is very expensive considering it's designed by Vera Wang. K-Mart is fine most of the time, but don't you think it's nice to own a few trendy pieces? I'm thankful for Vera and Kohl's for allowing a girl like me to actually buy clothes that in the past I only dreamed about owning.

I really did'nt care for ANY of the cloths on the show today and am stunned a designer with such talent thinks of this collection as High Style,its more like Highly Unattractive.

I agree. $160 for a jacket might be cheap for Oprah with her billions. But for me, it's out of my budget. It might as well be $600.

Oprah .. I love Vera Wang , though I have never been able to really afford her clothes, and sorry .to say the clothes i saw today were beautiful , but still not affordable for the average Mom, I got so excited that she would have a line at Kohls but $129.00 for a simple jacket or $60. for a sweater ,especialy when school clothes have just been purchased? I'm glad I am not alone in this. I have a friend who paid $800 for a purse, she said it was a bargain because it sells for $1,200!!! WHAT A BARGAIN!!! I always say even if I won the lottery, I would not spend that much money on nonsense. My husband told me if I come home with a $800 purse, there better be room for me to live in it. I told him the only way I would is if it had $785 inside it. We are a perfect match!!!

I am sorry but I was at Kohl's this morning and saw the line. The majority of this stuff is HIDEOUS. I would not be caught dead wearing any of it. Yes, Kohl's always has a sale and I'm guessing that this "line" will be on clearance in no time.

I truly believe that the simply vera collection is nice but I could not afford to pay 60 dollars for a sweater I guess I will wait and see if at the end of the season the collection will go on sale. That is when I usually do my shopping any way. As you can see it is not just you who feels this way. I am glad that I am not the only one.
