I agree on pretty much everything Gavin was talking about, but there is one thing that he didn't talk about, when you get caught by surprise and don't have the "intuition". He has me thinking I should of known what was going to happen to me and of been able to do something to stop it.
I came home from New Years Eve a little over a year ago, and a friend of mine that I haven't talked to in about eight months, snuck in my garage and held me at gun point. I won't get into the specifics of what happened that night, but I didn't have any "INTUITION". Was just comming home from a nice New Years Eve. He ended up getting five to ten years in state prison.
Gavin de Becker should say that usually you have the intuition that something is wrong, but not all the time. Sometimes you have no idea. I just don't like that he made me feel guilty about what happened to me or that I could of prevented it. I'm sure a lot of victims that saw the show feel the same way I do.
Thanks for listening,
Rob
