Anytime that you weigh more than the right amount, is that really so bad?

So, Oprah weighs what, 200 lbs. 40-60 lbs more than that great picture of hers on the left. Is it really worth the guilt and anguish?

With everything she has learned with us in ANE and the Power of Now, isn't it time to let go of the obsession with weight?

With every forkful of food taken in the present moment its just a matter of time before she loses it again, right?

What do you think?

My perspective on this is a little different. There seems to be a very real sense of what the "right weight" should be from a societal point of view. That is dangerously low and not good for one's health. Then there is the "health" issue of what the "right weight" should be. If one is finding it difficult to perform daily tasks, is getting frustrated, is showing signs of diabetes or heart illnesses than there is a need to be responsible about your weight. Don't judge a book by it's cover and don't judge a person by their weight, but DO keep a healthy weight for your body to stay healthy and fit and young! Living la vida fearless, Jan
