The Most Talented Girl in the World

Posted on Sep 5, 2008 10:27 AM

The girl with "The Voice" is back! She's from a small town on the other side of the planet, and she's got a big voice that brings crowds to their feet. Oprah makes a dream come true for the teen sensation she calls "The Most Talented Girl in the World." She started belting out tunes in talent shows in her hometown and quickly became a huge Internet sensation thanks to a singing talent that she says comes from somewhere "bigger than herself."

Truly, the Most Talented Girl in the World...And I thought I have seen everything from her (been following her since December of last year) .

When I saw her doing an impromptu dancing and singing to Michael Jackson's Billie Jean during the rehersal for Corousel of Hope, I said HUAH!!

And singing Celine's All By My Self sitting (Yes! sitting down) at the Big Brother Big Sister Show, there my jaw LITERALLY dropped!!

Charice, how many rabbits do you have in your sleeves?? You keep on suprising us! Even from your ardent fans!

The message of the All By Myself song when she did that at the Big Brother Big Sister show is..."Let me sit down, this song is not that hard to sing..." hahahaha....Way to wow and impress the audience, Charice!!!! You never ceases to amaze us.

I can't wait for you to become the diva that you are destined to be. This world needs a successor to the likes of Barbara Streisand and Celine Dion....someone who exudes positivity, someone who will not take all the blessings for granted, and someone who will never forget where she came from...that is you Charice. Just like what your Mama "O" said, "Can't wait what's next for you, Charice." Embrace what is happening to you right now and believe in it because just like what your 'Foster" dad said, you are "the real deal!!!" Enjoy every minute of it, Charice. You're having the time of your life....and it's only the beginning.

All your fans are here to support you always. We love you and we pray for you. I always light a candle for you at church every Sunday. God Bless you and your family.

If we don't say it enough to you, OPRAH, thank you so much for all you're doing for CHARICE. Along with David Foster, you are making her dreams come true one by one. And, in all honesty, I can't think of another performer more deserving of such love and attention. The charicediva community is ecstatic and overjoyed with all the gigs you've lined up for her from the Carousel of Hope Benefit Concert to the Macy's 150th Celebration to the Rising Stars Gala and to the upcoming Good Morning America & Macy's Parade Performance. And sooo much more than that. CHARICE has touched all our lives with her talent and her soul. We hope you continue to support her the way you have been. Thanks so much!

Thank you so much Oprah, and all of you Harpo people for believing in Charice and in her God-given talent. She is indeed, Music's newest, sweetest gift to the entire world! I knew this was going to happen the moment i saw her jaw-dropping performances on Starking through youtube! I have never seen anything like it! Honestly, being a musician myself, i had no inclination whatsoever to the type of music she sings but by the time i saw her rendition of And I Am Telling You, i just couldn't stop viewing her over and over again on the inernet! I must have been 'Charicematized' by her essence! Can't wait to see her again on your show... May God bless you more for blessing such a sweet angel like Charice!

I just can't enough of this young, lovely, talented young lady named Charice. She is so addicting. I have never felt this enamored with someone until now. I'm certain that I have watched all of her videos over and over again and still crave for more.

As David Foster said, Charice is undeniable and it will happen no matter what. With that talent, who can deny how great a singer she is. I just love her.

Thank you so much Oprah, for your continued support for this superstar.

I hope Charice and her mother will change their mind when they come back here in America.

I heard David Foster offered them to stay here to help develop Charice's emerging popularity. Unfortunately, for some odd reasons coming from her mother, they chose not to heed Mr. Foster's advise. I wonder if Oprah is fully aware of this. Charicemania opened up a blog on this subject and immediately removed it after an overwhelming outcry and disbelief from Charice's Filipino supporters, who are mostly residing here, also shared they're opinion on the seemingly irrational decision that Mrs. Pempengco made. It seemed so odd that after what these vultures did to Charice earlier in her quest for recognition for having such phenomenal talent are now capitalizing on her popularity that was brought about and made possible by the American people. Charicemania even went as far as saying that Charice have nothing to thank the American public for, and I'm hoping this irresponsible statement will not affect Charice's own judgment. I for one have no desire whatsoever to ask Charice to send me a thank you card for my support to all her achievements here. But I think that the statement that Charicemania made is a slap on my face and the American people who made Charice who she is right now.

I hope Oprah will read this comment for Charice's sake. I know these people. They're up for no good. Everything that they are giving her have strings attached and even wraped all over it. Mark my word, whoever gave her those things will want something in return from Charice and it's happening right now as we speak.

Please Oprah, try to convince Charice that she belongs to this great nation of achievers and believers. Only when Charice realized her dreams through you, David Foster and other prominent people in this country, that people in the Philippines took notice of her. This is wrong. And for them to suggest that Charice have nothing to be grateful to us for is an outrage. Have somebody like a concerned Filipino supporter who shares the same sentiments as we do speak to Mrs. Pempengco to convince her to change her mind and let charice explore all the possibilities here that her own country never gave to her before. I lived that life she lived and I can tell the dangers that these malevolent do gooders are doing to exploit poor Charice.

Charice, I hope you are reading the comments in this site and you are able to read this one as well. You are a very smart kid and with what you have achieved so far, you should pretty much be able to decide for yourself what is best for you with your mom's guidance. The world already knows what you've been through and how you have managed to help your mother and your brother go through some hard times. Now it's your turn to do the right thing for yourself and take Mr. Foster's advise. Just as much as what Charicemania said about how you shouldn't acknowledge the American people's acceptance of your tremendous talent, you shouldn't also think that you owe the people who rejected you at first anything. I read the new blog and it's just all about them and how they are going to be instrumental to your success. I know it's fish when I smell it...

I watched Charice in "Good Morning America" on November 18, and boy did she deliver once again. I don't know why I can't stop these goosebumps and be amazed each time I watch her perform.

She undeniably is "The Girl with the Voice"

OMG!! She top it off again with a fabulous rendition of "I Will Survive"!!!

She got wits and humor too!

-- On how is David Foster as working companion: "He is like....My DAD!"..."Hey Dad!!"

-- While waiting to finish a segment and for their cue for IWS:

DF gives a key...and out of the blue she sang..."At first I was afraid, to eat the Pizza Pie!!" ^_^

Dear jsaiso,

After reading your comments, I can't help but reply . First of all, Charicemania never made this statement - " Charice have nothing to thank the American public for". All your allegations against Charicemania site have no merit. I have been a Charice fan and Charicemania member since May and if you read through some of the articles in the archive section, you will see that Charicemania is devoted to Charice and Charice fans well being. The reason this article was pulled out was due to some heated arguments and harsh commentaries from fans.

Charicemania was created as a free blog site for all Charice fans to see the latest news and videos and the last thing Charicemania would like to have other fans see are people having debates and bashing each other on this site. I support Charice 100% and whatever decision they (Mommy Raquel and Charice) made regarding David Foster offer to stay in the U.S. I am sure as time goes by they might change their minds as the hassle of commuting between Philippines and U.S. becomes unbearable. Reading from that article as I recall, the main reason Charice and her Mom doesn't want to stay permanently in the U.S. is her brother Carl who's still studying. Maybe they're still working on Carl's visa to stay with them permanently since they don't want to be separated from each other.

Myself and Charicemania are very grateful to what Oprah and David Foster did to Charice and very thankful to the American Public for recognizing and believing on Charice talents. Charicemania is not self-centered and not sel"fish" like you smell on your comments. You're free to express your own opinions but please refrain from making unfounded allegations refering to other site...........
