I would assume 9am Central time since that's what time it comes on in Chicago. I don't think a show can call itself live if it isn't aired live ANYWHERE.

Yes, we have to watch Oprah at 9am instead of the typical time 4pm. Such a pity.

redsox28...I feel a bit silly...I couldn't figure out why people would talk about the Friday Live shows...so early in the morning...before 4:00 eastern....NOW I get it....silly me! Thanks for the clarification!

Here in California we get to watch at 3 p.m., my daughter gets to watch at 4 p.m. so if something is really really interesting

I can call her and tell her to be sure and not miss the show....how nice.

Eh, don't feel silly! Do you remember the promo commercials for Oprah WAY back in the day... It's 4 oclock, where's everybody gone (I think that's what they said) and then sang "Oprah's On!"

I never knew that people got to watch the show in the mornings either until I moved to the Chicago area. It took me weeks to find it! I kept looking at 4pm on the tv for Oprah.

A great benefit for all of you is to get a heads up if the show is worth watching or not.

It must be a Kindle. I purchased one this summer and love it. I was wondering if Oprah had one and what she thought of It. I then heard her mention it on Gayle King's shoe. If you love reading, it is a great gadget.

It is the Kindle. It was just on tv here in Chicago. Oprah gets a bit orgasmic over this gadget. Of course, everybody in the audience got a free Kindle.
