HI, I entered 'Dr. Oz Nose' into the Oprah.com search box and the results led me to the page where it talks about the 'Neti Pot'. I believe that is what you're inquiring about. Hope this helps. :)

Dr. Oz

You mentioned on today's show, 4/15/08, that Tony had the worse sinus disease and was waking up with daily headaches. Please suggest more help than the neti pot. I used the netty pot and for 3 years suffered with excruciating headaches, changed my diet, saw neurologists who INSISTED my problem was migraine (of course they never did any tests). After seeing a slew of Dr.'s and not giving up, I finally saw an ENT and had a CT scan which showed sinus disease in several cavities. I found myself sobbing in the dr.s office, begging dr.'s to see me - offer some sort of relief. The insurance company had denied CT sinus scans on several occassions. (which could be a whole Oprah segment on it's own). Since surgery, I have only had an occasional menstral migraine, but nothing like the daily headaches that plagued me. What's more exciting is I have my life back:biking, writing, visiting friends, finding employment. I started avoiding life because I had such a lack of energy, daily chronic headaches and smoke around me (for just 4 months) just escalated the problem. Tony, see an ENT. I can't tell you the incredible difference that surgery has had in my life. TONY - YOU ARE WORTH IT and know that you and Wendie are in my prayers.

That is great news about your surgery. For about two years now I have suffered from hideous pain from my left sinuses. An ENT that I saw wanted me to have surgery to widen that side as he said that that the left side is alot narrower than the right side. Because I was chicken of the surgery I tried to treat it naturally but have not really had much success. I now have a wee baby to care for and the constant discomfort and pain has not helped the stress of being a new Mum at all! I think after hearing how it has benfited you so much I'll revisit the ENT specialist and schedule the surgery. How was recovery for you? Kindest Regards.
