Thank you Jenny and Holly

I watched the show today and was very pleased that you are sharing your knowledge of this disorder. The more people that learn about this disorder the more aware we may become, as a society, to all the chemicals we are consuming and the damage that they are doing. I also have to agree with your statement about your child being your 'science'.

I am proud to say that I have a son who has autism and he is the joy of my life. I also feel that I have cured his disorder and released him. His trigger was with the dairy in his diet. Not so much the dairy but the formaldehyde, which is the preservative, used in dairy products, that was his main trigger. I worked hard and tirelessly to help him succeed thus far in his life. He has just turned ten and is starting to make some real friends this year at school on his own.

I am so glad that more people are opening this disorder up for everyone to become aware of. I too learned all my information ‘google-ing' the Internet. It was very hard on my marriage and my oldest son but we all made it. The time you have to spend with a child who has autism is consuming and does not equal the time you spend with your other children. For the longest time I felt overwhelmed and alone and a friend of mine just used to sit and listen while I cried and vented. Then I became her sounding board as she now has a daughter with autism. I have helped her get on the right track to helping her daughter as well as giving her some advice when she asks.

I look forward to reading Jenny's book and will recommend it to everyone. I did not write a book but I created a 2-page handout of all the services available in my city and some of the personal choices available to each family. I gave this sheet to all the pediatricians in my city and our own pediatrician was very thankful for this.

I wish you both well with all your years to come and remember to learn from them everyday as your children are reminders to everyone of how to love yourself, others, and life around you.
