I really enjoyed the show. I even went through my closet afterwards and started cleaning it out! Old clothes I was saving would not look right at all now.

I loved the show! What I would like to see when I shop are sales people and cosmetics people who don't cringe when an older woman asks for help! We are not all 25. Would love to see more clothing that is elegant and flatering. Can't find that around here

I also watched today size 14 stay at home wife, I wish you all would show clothing for us 14 and up sizes for just knocking around the house, going shopping or even out for a casual dinner out. Please no high heels and much more reasonable prices. Us military wives would love a makeover also

Great Job Oprah-loved this show! I am also not a size 2 but I think that the outfits you showed would look great on all types of figures. I loved the use of patent leather and metallics. LOVED the cape, the bags and the shoes. I agree that even the low end outfits were still a little high, but the pieces could be mixed with other pieces to make them get more wear for the $$$. I found that alot of the items shown they have similar items at Gap, the Limited and of course Zara. Nine west has the pantent shoes for 49.99 , the limited has beautiful metallic bags for $50, and nordstrom jewelry department has really cute purses too! And they are around $40. This show was not about dressing for fuller figures, or dressing on a budjet. The idea is to take the looks and find if they fit in your life and if you can replicate them on your budget. And KUDOS to the poster that can sew-boy I wish I had the skill because it would save me a fortune!

Although I loved the clothes and styles on the show, the "low" prices were more than I spend on clothes in a year! I would like to show those "fashion" folks how to spend $130 at Ross and get four new skirts, four new tops, a pair of jeans, two belts and a bathing suit! I buy shoes at Payless that look as stylish as the $500 pairs. I got three pairs last week for $25.00 on sale! These fashion mavens do not live in the real world. I am a six foot one inch tall, 62 yr. old nurse. I dress, act and look more like I am 45-50. Age is NOT chronological, it is mental! What does dress your age mean? It means looking really hot, foxy and stylish no matter what age you are! Most of all, it means enjoying life and having fun! With all of my knee high suede boots(from Payless), tights, cute skirts, tops, purses, shoes and jewelry, I could teach these fashion experts a thing or to on how to shop on a budget and travel the world volunteering with the rest of your money! No point in over indulgence on self when you really can have it all! I too was once a Nordstrom shopper. No more do I waste money on those items. I have discovered the world of discounts stores, thrift shops and bargain basements. Hooray! No one on the show in their $5000 clothes looked better than I do in my $25.00 outfit! Women are getting conned by the fashion gurus. The one thing I will spend money on is a good haircut. When I say spend, I mean $50 on a haircut instead of $11 senior price at Supercuts. Hair can say it all! So ladies, stand tall (most important when wearing clothes), get a good haircut, and strut your stuff!

I was wondering if anyone knew the name of the undergarment that Linda wore. My mom has been talking about it, but can't remember the name. She mentioned how it smoothed out all the rolls and wrinkles. Thanks for the info!

I wish the 50 year olds and 60 year olds were separated. I thnk the 50 year olds on this show were made to look like the 70 year olds at my church. I am 55 and not ready to look like that. When I am in my 70's I will want to look that elegant, but until then...

I, too, was completely disappointed in the show. As a 40-something part-time employee and divorced Mom, I could never afford those outfits nor would they fit into my lifestyle! Even a $100.00 dress is out of my budget. Also, what's wrong with showing some skin in your 40-s and beyond? Of course I'm not going to dress like I did in my 20's but I'm not ready for a life of turtlenecks either! Oprah was sitting there herself in a low-cut dress as the designers were discouraging the exact same thing. What's up with that? I never had cleavage in my younger days but thanks to some mid-life curves I've got it now and I'm damned sure gonna show the girls off!

I agree that the clothes shown are mostly for those tiny sizes that most of us might have been 30, 40 or 50+ years ago, like when I was 8 or 10. A fashion show for "normal-size" women would be much more helpful to most of us.

I loved the show!! I wanted to see more examples of how to dress expensive for less and how to transition key pieces in your 30's, 40's, and 50's. I am 42, feel younger, and recently looked in my closet and discovered that I have been dressing to young.

I was also diaspointed with the Thursday show on How to Look Great at Every Age. I am 61, I am admittedly overweight but not obese and could not wear those shoes for one minute that they suggest. I have foot pain and have not worn heels for several years. Let alone those spikes that they think we should wear. I would love to but I would be crippled in a few minutes. I can bearly get dressy flats to feel good for very long. AND the prices on those clothes?? Ridiculous for the majority of people, even the cheaper brands. I agree we should all dress up more but no one does in this part of Indiana, Why don't those experts wake up and join the REAL world.

Watched part of this show with my husband, but hated it so much I finally had to turn it off. Sorry, to rain on the parade. I like Oprah, but this has to be one of the WORST shows I have ever seen. I don't understand the posts saying this show was great. Please give honest feedback. It was AWFUL. The outfits were hideous, overpriced, and unrealistic wardrobe representations for the average woman. Even the low budget versions were outside the price range for most of Oprah's viewing audience. She does the same thing in her magazine. I subscribed to it for a year or so just because I like Oprah and had hoped the magazine would provide practical styling tips for the average woman; it doesn't. I cancelled my subscription since it mostly features VERY highend and advertisements; for example, shoes and handbags over $1,000??? The magazine features a dream vision for Oprah as she would like to be, always perfectly appointed in exquisite goregous outfits. Absolutely beautiful, but she has endless financial resources with a staff of stylists. While these things may seem quite affordable to her; like most of her audience, I will never own anything like that in my life. Most of Oprah's fans are like me, common everyday women. We are not size 2 with unlimited resources to shop at Nordies. I think it sums it up to say this----none of the outfits featured on this show could have even been worn by Oprah herself-------so what in the world makes her or her staff think that they can be worn by us???? I am sure NONE of those hideous outfits would have even made it into Oprah's highend magazine so I am just curious how they made the show??? Different staff obviously. Oprah please come back down to earth with practical styling tips in your show AND the magazine. Suggestion, the next time there is to be a feature on aging styling tips, please have Oprah be the model for her age group (my age group) ---then, maybe we will get more realistic tips. One last comment, sorry if this sounds catty as it is not meant that way at all. I like Oprah, and I don't care what size she is.....but whomever is styling her these days is chosing form fitting outfits that accentuate her weight gain---but I love the soft swept back curly hair style:)
