I loved this show and received some good idea's, but I do not fit the body sizes that were used. I understand that "we" are still caught up in presentations, but I do know that Nordstroms has a decent Woman's dept. I didn't see anything represented for that size women. I would love to give a designer or image consultant a run for their money. I am a size 22 in a D sized cup about 5' 7 and 46yrs old. I do not wear a relaxer and have trouble committing to a particular hairstyle. Above all this I am very easy on the eye and would love to see what upgrades and changes that would be made. I am a Christian woman and dress pretty classy, but conservative. It would be nice to see "me" in all this.

I enjoyed todays show, however, I am 65 years old, and although I feel that that I look good at this age, I am 10 - 15 pounds (maybe more) over my ideal weight. Most of the ladies modeling the fashions today, had wonderful slim figures. The same clothes on me, would not look as good. If you do a show with ladies my age and my size, I would be honored to participate. Sincerely, rosebud

Fan: In reply to your comment, I totally agree. There may be a larger number of plus and petite size women in this country then seem to always be highlighted on the show. I am like you, I can not afford $1,000 for 1 outfit, but have the desire to look age appropriate or even younger for my age. Especially with being only 3 yrs out of a divorce and still finding myself. I will continue to view the show, but I too am waiting for plus and petite women to be helped.

I don't understand why you let the producers lump the 50's and 60's together? Very disappointing. Each decade should have been appropriately represented as well as varying sizes. How about showing some size 12 and 14's?

I was also dissapointed in todays show. Number 1 is because even the less expensive versions were still too much to spend on an outfit, $300?? No thank you. Another thing that made me upsest was because it was look great in your 30s, 40s, and 50s, but what about your 20s?? I think dressing in your 20s is the hardest, you don't want to look like a teeny bopper anymore but you're also not quite ready to look 30. You don't want to look younger or older, you want to look your age. I'm still waiting for there to be any show on tv that has a REALISTIC budget. How about an outfit for $150?

I couldn't watch today's show. Not because the models are size 2 and completely unrealistic. Not because I'm a double digit size and not ashamed of it. The reason I couldn't watch is I find it so tiring on one hand Oprah will talk about being yourself, taking pride in who you are, making a difference with your life, then she hosts a show that is so superficial. The little bit of the show that I did see was about the mother who liked to wear her 12 year old daughter's clothes. (Maybe Dr. Phil can help her with that issue) The outfit they put her in looked ridiculous. That's when I turned it off.

The reason they couldnt show every size is because it was only an hour show. I am in my 50's and loved the show. Great ideas and appropriate advice. Oh, and how about the lipo in a box? that is a wonderful idea. too bad this thread had to turn into a gripe thread....sad.

I thought today's show was great, except that all the models were very thin! Since the average size of women in this country is a size 14, it would have been very nice to see some larger models. Most of the "makeover" ladies were thin too! I would like to see more realistic models and "real" people.

I have to agree with the majority of the responses. Most of us are definitely not as tall and thin as the woman that were modeling today. Although they looked great I could never wear most of those outfits. I could NEVER run around doing my grocery shopping in those "kicky" boots the older model was wearing. I still remember Oprah showing us her one minute, one hour, etc heels. Show us the shoes we can move in. I really don't know anyone that can do their errands and go to soccer games in those type heels. The best outfit of the day was the fun track suit with the sweater change. Show us more things like that that we can really use. We need more ideas for hiding our flaws and accentuating our positives. The three classic outfits were great and it is fabulous to show the less expensive versions of. Those are the kinds of outfits that some of us everyday people might try to stretch our budgets for.

I learned something from today's show. According to one of the so called experts, running shoes are only for running and should never be worn outdoors. She obviously doesn't have children.

Today's show was OK, but very frustrating to me. Since when is a "low-priced" outfit $750??? ONE outfit? And we're supposed to get our bargain outfits at Nordstrom? Come on! Nordstrom is out of reach financially for probably 90% of the women who watch the show. If you polled your viewers, I bet the vast majority would think a "bargain" outfit would be around $50. And don't laugh. Just because all the high-paid execs who put the show together can afford these fancy duds doesn't mean the average woman can. How about featuring REAL bargains from stores like Ross and Target? And widening the size range of your models?

And don't get me started on that woman who wrote a book on how to look "young at any age". Long, bleach-blonde hair is not appropriate for HER age. Add those veneers, the restylene lips, botox and taught face, and she actually looks OLDER. Older and trying too hard to look like a twenty-something Barbie doll. What about accepting our age and wearing it with grace?

OK, sorry about that negative tangent. I feel better now. My overall point is that I feel as though Oprah has lost touch with the vast majority of women in America. I remember a few weeks ago when she couldn't believe that people in her audience didn't know what a biday was. Hello? And of COURSE she has one in all her bathrooms. Doesn't everyone?? Doesn't she realize that only the super-wealthy in America even have the option of putting a biday in their homes? Most of us are just struggling to pay the bills, keep a roof above us, and get the kids fed, clothed, learned and loved. I wish there were more shows about us. And the tricks and helpful hints and REAL bargains that help us keep our families together. And get by...

Anyhoo, that's my twenty two cents. And that's all that I got extra today. I guess that means no "bargain" Nordy's outfits for me!

How can we find out the exact pieces in the outfits shown on today's show. I love the flat brown suede boots they put Tina in, but there is no mention of what they are. Is there a breakdown of what each piece is?

watched todays show thought it was great.I am an african american woman age 46 but looks 36 thanks to great genes and great skincare.I thought the show was great.Just wanted to let everyone know that you can purchase LIPO IN A BOX which was used on one of the first models to hide back fat on QVC.I have been wearing LIPO IN A BOX for 2 yrs.and next to SPANX it is the greatest thing for back fat that we all have no matter what our size.I'm 5'9" and weight 145.I still have back fat I've never had kids so it does not matter. It's very smooth and very comfortable to wear all day it goes well under all your clothes. My analogy it does for your back and tummy what SPANX has done for our hip and thighs. So ladies go to QVC BOTH SPANX AND LIPO IN A BOX IS OFFERED THERE IN A VARIETY OF CHOICES.HINT HINT YOU ALSO GET BETTER PRICING ON THESE ITEMS ON QVC .order true to size I wear mediums and not large and they fit perfectly....Sincerely QVC.GAL.... e-mail Rockwelldc@aol.com

I could not wait to see the show today. I have been fat all my life and have lost weight to a size 4 at the age of 55. I am happy about the weight loss but so very confused about how to dress. I watch Stacy & Clinton on What not to wear all the time to try to learn how to dress. After today I am more confused that ever because some of the outfits the people was wearing as "before" looked great to me. I just don't look correct in anythng. I have spent a lot of time and effort into getting a new wardrobe. I still have coworkers telling me they need to help me buy clothes. I even went to a friend home to stay for a week and she was loaning me things to wear all the time. I tried to get on TLC so Clinton & Stacy could help me but need to be nominated so OPRAH PLEASE get them to take me on the show and help me. I am having to be in front of people and doing trainings for my job and so need to look correct but just don't know how. I am told that I look to old, to young, to baggy, to tight, I think it's easier being FAT because people expect you to be a mess. Confused in FL
